News. This coming month the thinkdotank DataEthics.eu will be very active internationally. It will be present both at this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF) and on the conference Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP).
‘Responsive and Responsible Leadership’ is the theme driving the design of the programme, initiatives and projects of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2017 in Davos Switzerland, where DataEthics will attend and lobby for data ethics as a competitive advantage in Europe.
The former Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt is 1 of 5 co-chairs at the meeting focusing on enhanced international cooperation and earnest multicultural dialogue to advance innovations for greater societal impact.
The week after, DataEthics will be present at another important meeting, Computers, Privacy & Data Protection, the CPDP in Brussels. The three-day program is stuffed with interesting topics such as ‘AI and Privacy Challenges in FinTech’ , ‘Genetic Privacy’ and ‘Consumer Profiling’.
