The Global Privacy as Innovation Network is DataEthics’ global policy network. It was established at the Privacy as Innovation II session at the 9th Internet Governance Forum September 2014.
The network influences the global internet governance debate with a view on privacy as an economic and social investment. It consists of independent experts, academics, developers, journalists and civil society representatives that participate in events, contribute with expertise and exchange knowledge and ideas about new emerging services, networks and guidelines on privacy innovation. The aim is also to create an international “privacy as innovation” level playing field for digital media business development with key practical principles.
