balSequr, Privacore and Ind.ie are free for all to access. This autumn Geneva Technologies will launch smartphones and a tablet base on Privacy-by-Design principles. The company is head-quartered in Switzerland, but also lives in Canada and it consists of former Blackphone and Blackberry employees. Blackphones were demonstrated by  GlobalSequr, who is selling both Blackphones and the coming products from Geneva on the Nordic markets. PrivaCore told about their new ad-og content-blocker, where you can distinguish between blocking of third party cookies and ads. May be you don’t want to do the latter to support the ad-finances websites. PrivacyCore also told about their new search engine expected to launch this May. Finally, Ind.ie talked about why the current digital business model based on tracking by-default is broken and how it can be made all over with the individual in the center. Afterwards there were two workshops on how to get started in privacy with Privacykompasset.dk, and how to take care of kids whose data are also collected, analysed and used.
