De vil som i Australien have vedtaget en lov, hvor platforme, der huser det indhold, de har for\u00e6ret dem det sidste \u00e5rti, skal betale penge for selvsamme indhold. Men med en aftale g\u00f8r de sig endnu mere afh\u00e6ngige af big tech fremfor at arbejde strategisk og langsigtet p\u00e5 at vinde kontrollen tilbage. Her er forslag til hvad medier og Joy Mogensen kan g\u00f8re.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I tirsdags var jeg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr.dk\/radio\/p1\/p1-debat\/p1-debat-2021-02-23\">i debat<\/a> med Lea Korsgaard fra Zetland og Anders Krab fra Berlingske Media p\u00e5 P1. Lea vil ikke have en lov, der tvinger tech til at betale, fordi Zetland f\u00e5r s\u00e5 meget ud af at bruge Facebook som en rekrutteringsplatform af nye medlemmer, mens Anders vil, for det er da fair, n\u00e5r de nu bruger penge p\u00e5 at producere indholdet. Leas argumenter bakkes op af <a href=\"https:\/\/mediawatch.dk\/Medienyt\/Web\/article12789835.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en r\u00e6kke nye medier <\/a> if\u00f8lge MediaWatch, men jeg hylder en tredje vej: Arbejd jer ud af afh\u00e6ngigheden af Facebook fremfor at g\u00f8re jer mere afh\u00e6ngige af den &#8211; og byg jeres egen platform.<\/p>\n<p>I dagens udgave af <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dr.dk\/radio\/p1\/mennesker-og-medier\/mennesker-og-medier-2021-02-26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mennesker og Medier<\/a> blev mine budskaber desv\u00e6rre fuldkommen misforst\u00e5et. Mit forslag om at bygge en dansk platform for dansk kvalitetsindhold blev opfattet som om jeg har foresl\u00e5et, at man\u00a0 skal bygge et nyt Facebook i Danmark eller en s\u00f8gemaskine i konkurrence med Facebook og Google. D\u00e9t er utopi. Men jeg har siden 2012 argumenteret for, at man skal bygge en dansk platform for danske kvalitetsnyheder a al det Infomedia, vi allerede har for virksomheder; alts\u00e5 et infomedia for danske mediebrugere. I Holland byggede man efterf\u00f8lgende et Blendl. Men mit forslag blev ditchet &#8211; det kan vi da ikke finde ud af, l\u00f8d det, ligesom det blev ditchet &#8211; p\u00e5 forkert grundlag &#8211; i Mennesker og Medier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danske medier samarbejder kun selektivt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I stedet vil danske medier lade sig indfange endnu mere af en ulovligt, uetisk, skatteunddragende, datamisbrugende platform, der er m\u00f8gligeglad med danske nyheder og v\u00e6sentlighed. Danske medier vil gerne samarbejde, n\u00e5r de synes DR bliver for stor, og de vil ogs\u00e5 gerne samarbejde om kollektivt at forhandle for at f\u00e5 Facebook til at hoste op. Men hvorfor vil de ikke samarbejde om en f\u00e6lles distributionsplatform p\u00e5 danske h\u00e6nder fremfor at Facebook og Google ender med at sidde p\u00e5 distributionen og prioriteringen?<\/p>\n<p>Lidt baggrund, der m\u00e5ske kan forklare det. Allerede i 2012-2013 arbejdede jeg som redaktionel udviklingschef i Berlingske Media sammen med Stig \u00d8rskov, der dengang var nr to i JP Pol, i n\u00e6sten et \u00e5r p\u00e5 en ide om en f\u00e6lles distributionsplatform for dansk publicistisk indhold. Vi var faktisk oppe at k\u00f8re over, hvor banebrydende ideen var, men den blev\u00a0 sl\u00e5et ihjel af Stigs chef, Lars Munch, der ikke ville hj\u00e6lpe Berlingske med at overleve. Siden er ideen blevet totalt afvist af JP Pol, der ejer en stor del af Infomedia.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 hellere give Facebook magten? N\u00e5, men lad os nu se, hvad der kommer ud af forhandlingerne mellem Facebook og danske medier. Mit bud er, at Facebook bliver vinderen &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/mediawatch.dk\/Medienyt\/politik\/article12783117.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ligesom i Australien<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Medier og politikere b\u00f8r skrue ned for Facebook<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jeg \u00f8nsker medierne held og lykke, men det g\u00f8r ondt i mit journalistiske DNA, for jeg tror p\u00e5, at rigtig mange mange danskere og ikke mindst skoler ville bruge en platform for dansk kvalitetsindhold i takt med, at flere og flere ikke orker Facebook mere (de unge er for l\u00e6ngst v\u00e6k) og m\u00e5ske i takt med at Europa f\u00e5r reguleret Facebook og sat den p\u00e5 plads i forhold til dens misbrug af persondata og deres monopol. Samtidig kunne politikere og offentlige websites bakke jer op ved at skrue voldsomt ned for brugen af Facebook (Mette <a href=\"https:\/\/politiken.dk\/nyhedsbreve\/mine\/nyhedsbrev_tech_og_viden\/art8110846\/T%C3%A6nk-hvis-Facebook-bliver-sur-og-lukker-Mette-Frederiksen-ude\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frederiksens brug af Facebook<\/a> er jo en sk\u00e6ndsel) og I kunne bruge Facebook som det den er: En markedsf\u00f8ringsplatform. Facebook er en platform for amat\u00f8rer &#8211; den har aldrig selv bedt om professionelt medieindhold &#8211;\u00a0 og er f\u00f8rst og fremmest til for, at folk kan dele deres interesser og andet privat indhold. I medier har s\u00e5 mast jer p\u00e5 med jeres professionelle indhold, s\u00e5ledes at halvdelen af alle danskere i dag f\u00e5r deres nyheder fra Facebook, l\u00f8d det i Mennesker og Medier.<\/p>\n<p>Faren ved at indg\u00e5 samarbejde med Facebook for at f\u00e5 dem til at betale er b\u00e5de, at I legitimere en ulovlig og uetisk platform. At I bliver endnu mere afh\u00e6ngige af en kommerciel platform, der &#8211; ganske forst\u00e5eligt &#8211; prioriterer indhold (dvs klikbart tabloid indhold) efter hvor mange penge de kan tjene &#8211; ikke hvor v\u00e6sentlig indholdet er. Facebook har ikke det demokratiske DNA som mange publicistiske medier har. Og s\u00e5 peger Jakob Nielsen fra Altinget p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altinget.dk\/kultur\/artikel\/penge-fra-facebook-kan-foere-til-polarisering-af-danske-medier\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">en meget v\u00e6sentlig ting:<\/a> Hvis I f\u00e5r flere og flere penge p\u00e5 Facebook, hvorfor s\u00e5 egentlig blive ved med at bruge s\u00e5 mange danske skattekroner p\u00e5 mediest\u00f8tten?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vi kan godt selv<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hvorfor tror mange dansker ikke p\u00e5 os selv mere? Joy Mogensen siger det er for sent og at vi bare m\u00e5 omfavne Facebook. Det er da fx lykkedes i Danmark at opbygge et alternativ til bl.a. Facebook i skolerne, nemlig Aula. Mange kritiserer Aula, men det skal nok blive godt, n\u00e5r b\u00f8rnesygdommene er ovre. Skoleb\u00f8rn, for\u00e6ldre og l\u00e6rere er tvunget til at bruge den, og derfor er den blevet et reelt alternativ til Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>I stedet for at kr\u00e6ve betaling af Facebook kan Joy Mogensen g\u00f8re f\u00f8lgende:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Indf\u00f8r en digital annonceafgift. Ja det rammer ogs\u00e5 publicistiske danske medier, men Google og Facebook sidder jo p\u00e5 broderparten<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e6t penge af til at opbygge en f\u00e6lles distributionsplatform for kvalitetsindhold. Hvert medie f\u00e5r betaling afh\u00e6ngig af brug som det i dag sker p\u00e5 det professionelle Infomedia. Giv alle danskere, der betaler licens, adgang og etabler en fair forretningsmodel for de private betalingsmedier<\/li>\n<li>Politikere b\u00f8r g\u00e5 sammen med alle andre i regeringen og holde op med af bruge Facebook som var den en acceptabel digital infratruktur for al dansk kommunikation.
