Hvordan foreg\u00e5r digital profiling og data-drevne algoritme beslutninger og hvordan p\u00e5virker det lighed, frihed, vores autonomi, demokrati og human v\u00e6rdighed p\u00e5 individuelt og samfundsm\u00e6ssig plan. Med det in mente fokuserer en ny <a href=\"http:\/\/crackedlabs.org\/dl\/CrackedLabs_Christl_CorporateSurveillance.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rapport<\/a> fra Cracked Labs p\u00e5 den m\u00e5de nutidens dataindustri fungerer indefra.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Det hele begyndte med luftfartsselskabernes loyalitetsprogrammer i midt 1980erne. Detailhandlen fulgte trop i 1990erne, den finansielle serviceindustri i slut 1990erne; og i dag er det s\u00e5 godt som alle virksomheder, der har s\u00e5danne programmer &#8211; ofte i samarbejder hvor de s\u00e6lger aggregerede udgaver af deres data som forbugerk\u00f8b til research virksomheder og data brokers.\u00a0 Og det sker ikke kun i USA, fx er britiske Tesco, svenske Spotify, mediehuse og tyske Sociomantic alle en del af den store industri, hvor de st\u00f8rste spillere er Google, Disney, Comcast, 21st Century Fox, Facebook og tyske Bertelsmann.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Rapporten sp\u00e5r ikke om fremtiden for den personlige dataindustri men oplyser, at virksomhedskonsulenter som Gartner r\u00e5dgiver andre i at tilslutte sig dataindustrien, samle s\u00e5 mange data ind som muligt om deres kunder\u00a0 og finde m\u00e5der, hvorp\u00e5 de kan bruge disse data til at berige deres virksomhed p\u00e5. Rapporten understreger at i USA har staten skubbet til udviklingen ved kun at regulere privacy som\u00a0 forbrugerbeskyttelse, men at den kommende EU GDPR kan have global indflydelse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Datak\u00f8bm\u00e6ndene<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Rapporten zoomer ogs\u00e5 ind p\u00e5 den financielle industri og svindelbek\u00e6mpelse, men kapitlet om datak\u00f8bm\u00e6ndene (&#8216;data brokers&#8217; eller &#8216;The Marketing Data Industry&#8217;) er interessant. En datak\u00f8bmand kan defineres som &#8216;en virksomhed eller forretningsenhed, som tjener sine hovedindt\u00e6gter p\u00e5 at s\u00e6lge data og adf\u00e6rd om mennesker indsamlet prim\u00e6rt fra andre kilder end datasubjekterne selv&#8217;.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Datak\u00f8bm\u00e6nd indsamler og s\u00e6lger lister over mennesker, fx folk der lider af kr\u00e6ft eller depression. I 2017 fik\u00a0 Amnesty International et <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/amnesty-insights\/data-brokers-data-analytics-muslim-registries-human-rights-73cd5232ed19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tilbud<\/a> p\u00e5 en liste over 1.8 million US muslimer. Nogle data brokers tilbyder endda software til deres kunder, s\u00e5 de kan hj\u00e6lpe dem med at vedligeholde kundedatabaser, hvor hver eneste person har en unik kode. Selv i Tyskland r\u00e5der datak\u00f8bmanden\u00a0 Arvato AZ Direct over 600 kendetegn p\u00e5 70 millioner kunder i Tyskland, hvor ogs\u00e5 enhver af dem har en unik kode, skriver rapporten.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Lidt tal bare for at f\u00e5 en ide om hvor stort det her er: Datak\u00f8bmanden Acxiom (US) vedligeholder databaser for over 7000 kunder, inklusive 47 af de st\u00f8rste Fortune 100 virksomheder. Experian (US) h\u00e5ndterer 7,500 kundedatabaser for st\u00f8rre virksomheder. Merkle (D) oplyser, at de vedligeholder over 3,7 milliarder kundeprofiler for deres kunder inklusive Dell, Nespresso, Microsoft, Marriott, Chase, American Express og Universal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Acxiom<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4491 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-300x197.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-300x197.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-220x144.jpg 220w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-250x164.jpg 250w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-355x233.jpg 355w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-730x479.jpg 730w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom-90x59.jpg 90w, https:\/\/dataethics.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Acxiom.jpg 878w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 231px) 100vw, 231px\" \/>En af de st\u00f8rste datak\u00f8bmand er Acxiom (se foto th) som f\u00e5r megen opm\u00e6rksomhed i rapporten. Acxiom viser ogs\u00e5, hvor langt dataindustrien g\u00e5r i USA med mange forskellige dataleverand\u00f8rer; Ibotta (mobile k\u00f8bsdata), Freckle IOT (real-time lokationsdata), Samba TV (second-by-second tv-seening), Crossix (sundhedsdata p\u00e5 250 mio US borgere), Google, Facebook, Twitter og s\u00e5 videre.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Individuel Tracking<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Rapporten oplyser;<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div><em>Baseret p\u00e5 data og styret af \u00f8konomiske m\u00e5l har virksomheder skabt et milj\u00f8, hvor individer konstant overv\u00e5ges og evalueres, unders\u00f8ges minuti\u00f8st, kategoriseres og kvantificeres, inkluderes eller ekskluderes &#8211; og som et resultat af det benhandles forskelligt.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>Konsekvenserne af denne massive brug af persondata kan blive, at nogle individer udst\u00f8des eller diskrimineres p\u00e5 falsk grundlag. Often uden forklaring eller uden at vide det og i forbindelse med at de s\u00f8ger job, et l\u00e5n eller en forsikring.<\/div>\n<p>Rapporten konkluderer;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Udover regulering for at forhindre diskrimination og unfair konkurrence og for at beskytte forbrungerne, er der generelt behov en massiv kollektiv indsats for at f\u00e5 vendt vores visioner omkring fremtidens IT til noget positivt.
