Kan de bede om at rette data eller blive slettet og glemt af jer? Og fort\u00e6ller I dem klart og tydeligt, at I ikke s\u00e6lger deres data videre til tredjepart? Det g\u00f8r de f\u00e6rreste danske virksomheder, selv om langt de fleste lever op til persondataloven, og det ville v\u00e6re lige til h\u00f8jrebenet at g\u00f8re det.<\/p>\n<p>Her i begyndelse af datatidsalderen, hvor is\u00e6r multinationale selskaber bruger og misbruger persondata, er forbrugernes bekymring for deres privatliv vokset massivt. If\u00f8lge <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/justice\/data-protection\/files\/factsheets\/factsheet_data_protection_eurobarometer_240615_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Eurobarometer om databeskyttelse<\/a> 2015 mener 7 ud af 10, at hvis en virksomhed vil indsamle og bearbejde deres data, skal den indhente deres udtrykkelige samtykke. Og lige s\u00e5 mange er bekymrede for, at deres data bruges til andet form\u00e5l end det, de har sagt ja til. En lang r\u00e6kke <a href=\"http:\/\/dataethics.eu\/ny-forretningsmodel-efterlyses-forbrugeren-i-centrum\/\" target=\"_blank\">andre forbrugeranalyser <\/a>viser samme tendenser; individer \u00f8nsker kontrol over deres egne data, men f\u00f8ler ikke de har kontrol. Denne digitale mistillid er \u00f8del\u00e6ggende for danske virksomheders v\u00e6kstpotentiale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flest penge i ikke-personhenf\u00f8rebare data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der er mange muligheder for at v\u00e6kste via data. If\u00f8lge en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/insights\/business_technology\/the_internet_of_things_the_value_of_digitizing_the_physical_world\" target=\"_blank\">rapport<\/a> om potentialet i Internet of Things fra McKinsey juni 2015 ligger langt de fleste penge i data, der ikke er personhenf\u00f8rbare, fx vejr, trafik og produkt -data. Men n\u00e5r det g\u00e6lder persondata handler det om at v\u00e6re varsom.<\/p>\n<p>Virksomheder som Facebook og Google er frontl\u00f8bere i at kapitalisere p\u00e5 persondata, men de har ogs\u00e5 en stor del af skylden for forbrugerbekymringen. Ikke mindst Facebook med de mange tilh\u00f8rende data-sugende apps, som \u2018glemmer\u2019 at fort\u00e6lle, at de har adgang til alle dine fotos eller Facebook Messenger, der kr\u00e6ver adgang til alle ens kontakter, fotos og lokation.<\/p>\n<p>Vi begynder at se en stigende eftersp\u00f8rgsel efter sikre services b\u00e5de fra forbrugerne og fra virksomhederne. For eksempel vokser europ\u00e6iske cloud services som tyske T-Systems og danske Rushfiles. Det samme g\u00f8r alternativer til Google Analytics som Siteimprove og Netminers. Netop privacy og dataetik er omr\u00e5der, hvor danske virksomheder har en k\u00e6mpe chance for at skille sig ud. I stedet for at kopiere Silicon Valley forretningsmodellen, som man kan kalde tracking-by-default, vil de komme meget l\u00e6ngere med en model, hvor de oplyser \u00e6rligt og transparent om, hvad de g\u00f8r med deres data. Det kan de f\u00e5 hj\u00e6lp til via Erhvervsstyrelsens nye redskab PrivacyKompasset.dk, hvor man kan genere en klar og tydelig privatlivspolitik.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dataetiske udfordringer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En ting er at leve op til lovgivningen. En anden ting er, hvad kunderne egentlig vil finde sig i. Det kan fx godt v\u00e6re fuldt lovligt kan sende reklamer ud p\u00e5 kunders mobiltelefoner afh\u00e6ngig af, hvor de befinder sig. Men m\u00e5ske kunderne synes det er for pushy? S\u00e5 udover at overholde lovgivningen, er det en god ide at etablere en dataetisk strategi, hvor man kortl\u00e6gger alle dataetiske udfordringer og tager stilling til dem.<\/p>\n<p>I konkurrencen med de globale virksomheder, der ofte lever efter andre regler end de danske (fx m\u00e5 man i USA godt s\u00e6lge data videre uden at samtykke), er det en god ide aldrig at tage noget for givet. Vis, at I overholder lovgivningen, og at I har en h\u00f8j etik omkring brug af jeres kunders data.
